Hi There,
my name is Ervin Coburn, and I’m passionate about developing elementary students to understand math at their level. As the founder of Let’s Love Math, I want to create an environment and culture that changes the perspective outlook of how students view math. As someone who has worked with students in math, I understand the virtue of patience and encouragement as a major benefactor. I believe having a strong concept in numbers is the building block to moving forward in confidence.
About Let's Love Math
The main objective is to not only tutor but to develop strong skill sets that will be essential in meeting math goals in the future. It simply brings joy to see improvement and excitement as a student understands the assignment given to him/her. I truly believe in using your gift to help and assist others. This tutoring program is about changing the outlook of math to where it will be loved by every student that participates.
Outside of tutoring, I currently work for LabCorp as a Positive Certifying Scientist. I’m married to my college sweetheart, Shetauja, and we have one four legged child name Oreo, which is a Shih Tzu. My hobbies include sports, traveling, watching action movies, and trivia games. On a nerdy note, I love to challenge myself by squaring numbers up to 100 in my head.
